William and Kate thrill Canada during visit
July 5, 2011 - 05:43 pm
Prince William and Kate thrilled fans in Canada during their visit, their first overseas trip since their April 29 wedding.
The couple spent the sixth of their nine-day visit in Yellowknife attending an aboriginal ceremony with traditional drumming, dancing and sport.
The crowds and cameras have been focused almost entirely on Kate. On Monday, she wore a cream dress by Sarah Burton, who designed her iconic wedding dress.
But the prince got some attention of his own, with his piloting skills on display in a training maneuver and landing a Canadian Sea King helicopter on a lake more than a dozen times.
