Women hurt in Southeast shooting
D.C. police are investigating a double shooting in Southeast.
Officers were called to the 2300 block of Minnesota Avenue around 3:15 a.m. Wednesday for reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, they were unable to locate the crime scene, but say two woman have been transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The women told police that they were riding in a vehicle when they were shot.
No further details were immediately available.
