50 best colleges in U.S. Did your alma mater make it?

The Best Colleges has published its first ranking of the 50 best colleges and universities in the United States. Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey topped the list, while the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA made #3. The University of Virginia made #15 and Georgetown made #47.
The rankings were compiled using a number of different factors and went beyond standard academic quality and student satistfaction, according to a press release.
