A 55-year-old D.C. man pleaded guilty Tuesday to burglary charges for burglarizing the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in NW D.C.
Anthony Maye pleaded guilty to two counts of second degree burglary. He’s scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 28 and faces up to 15 years in prison. Maye is a former janitor at the hospital.
Authorities said he was caught on surveillance footage spray-painting surveillance cameras. However, the paint on the camera dripped off and captured Maye entering and exiting rooms that were burglarized, authorities said.
