Boy, 3, accidentally struck and killed in Thurmont

A 3-year-old boy was struck and killed in Thurmont, Md., when his father was backing a truck out of the driveway.
About 8 p.m. Tuesday, a 32-year-old man was backing a Ford pick-up truck out of his driveway in the 15000 block of Kelbaugh Road when he accidentally struck his 3-year-old son.
The Maryland State Police Aviation Trooper 3 transported the child to John Hopkins Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No charges are expected.
