Boy struck by car in Northwest D.C.

A young boy is in serious condition Thursday night after being struck by a SUV in Northwest D.C.

The boy was riding his bicycle in the 600 block of Park Road NW when he was hit.

He was transported to Children's National Medical Center.

There were no other immediate details about what may have caused the accident.
