D.C. police investigates: Man stabbed in Northeast; Man falls from hotel window in Northwest
D.C. police are investigating twoseparate incidents that occurred overnight.
Authorities say a man was stabbed in the lower body at 5th and Eads Street in Northeast just after midnight. He is hospitalized in critical condition. Police have no suspects or a motive in this crime.
In Northwest, a man fell from a window at the Hotel Madera after an attempted robbery, police say.
The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. Monday in a room at the hotel, located in the 1300 block of New Hampshire Avenue.
Police say the man is in critical condition after falling from a fifth floor balcony. It's unclear if the room belonged to the victim.
Three suspects - two of them had weapons - were involved in the incident, authorities say.
No further details on either incident were immediately available.
