Dean Dixon: Police search for missing boater

Maryland Natural Resources Police are searching Dean Dixon, a boater missing in Penthouse Creek, police said.
Police were called at 3 p.m. because an unoccupied boat was found on shore. Police investigated and found out that Dean Dixon, of Harwood, Md., was crabbing from that boat. The 52-year-old called his family at about 11 a.m. but has not been heard from or seen since.
Anne Arundel County Fire Department and aviation are searching for Dixon. Divers are also aiding the search in the area of the 4700 block of Bayfield Road, Galesville, Md.
