Deandre Rogers, Deon Jenkins convicted of 2008 gang slaying

Two men were convicted of first degree murder Friday in connection with the 2008 slaying of a man who was gunned down while in his van in traffic.
Convicted were Deandre Rogers, 20, and Deon T. Jenkins, 26. Both were convicted of first degree murder while armed for killing William Foster.
Foster was gunned down at the intersection of North Capitol and R Streets, NE on April 14, 2008.
Authorities said it was gang-related.
