PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) — Authorities are trying to sort out charges against three siblings arrested following a cross-country manhunt and chase that ended in Colorado.
The trio faces four charges each of first-degree assault on a peace officer. They also have no-bond warrants in Georgia and Florida. It wasn't immediately known Thursday when their first court appearance would be after they were taken to the Pueblo County Jail.
Twenty-one-year-old Ryan Edward Dougherty, 26-year-old Dylan Dougherty Stanley and 29-year-old Lee Grace Dougherty were the target of a weeklong nationwide search.
The manhunt for the siblings began Aug. 2. The three are suspected of firing at least 20 shots at a Florida officer who tried to pull them over for speeding in a chase at speeds up to 100 mph.
