Elijah Muhammad Turner, D.C. man dies after fight at house party
Prince George’s County police say a Southeast man died after getting into a fight at a house party in Fort Washington on Saturday.
Police say 22-year-old Elijah Muhammad Turner suffered severe head trauma while attending a party on Pendleton Street, and later died from his injuries.
On August 6, around 2:20 a.m., officers were called to a home for a report of a fight at a large party. Upon arrival, the crowd had already dispersed. Officers were then called to a local hospital for report of an assault. When they got there, officers were told that Turner had been driven to the hospital by an acquaintance after being injured during a fight at the party.
Detectives are working to identify suspects in the homicide and establish motive in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (301) 772-4925.
