Get ready for more storms
FLASH FLOOD WATCH 3PM – 10PM…For Prince Georges, Anne Arundel, Montgomery, and Howard counties.
Upper level energy combined with daytime heating will result in scattered showers and storms across there region later this afternoon and evening. There will be enough instability to support a few strong to perhaps severe cells with the main threats being damaging winds and perhaps hail. Much like we saw yesterday each shower or storm will be capable of producing heavy localized rain.
Saturday looks to be the better of the two days for outside plans featuring partly sunny and humid conditions. A couple stray or isolated thunderstorms can’t be ruled out but the chance of rain is at 20 percent or less. High temperatures will around 90 degrees again during the afternoon hours.
A cold front will approach and push through the region Sunday into Monday and will support shower and thunderstorm development during this time. Early indications are that some storms may again be strong to severe.
