Glenn Wilson, Keith Tinsley, arrested on warrants more than 30 years old
Correction:
This story originally reported that the Prince George's County Police Department made the arrests. The story has been corrected.
The Prince George's County Sheriff's office arrested two men on warrants dating back more than 30 years.
Arrested were Glenn Wilson and Keith Tinsley.
Wilson was wanted on an outstanding warrant dated Jan. 4, 1972 on charges of house breaking, which is known today as breaking and entering, larceny and receiving stolen goods.
Wilson was found at an extended stay motel in Germantown, Md. He was taken into custody on Aug. 4 without incident and booked into the local detention center.
Tinsley was wanted for a Dec. 4, 1976 warrant on charges of armed robbery. He was also arrested without incident and booked into the local detention center.
"Reducing the backlog of warrants and staying current on newly issued warrants is exactly what our two-pronged strategy is," said Sheriff Melvin C. High in a statement. "Our investigators did outstanding work, refining their investigative techniques to locate and capture individuals who have eluded capture for so long."
