This week on Inside Washington: More bad news on the economy means more bad news politically for President Obama. Politics: Texas Governor Rick Perry joins the Republican Presidential sweepstakes, Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann wins the Iowa Straw Poll and Tim Pawlenty drops out. Romney is still the front runner, but where is Jon Huntsman?
Also, the Obama administration’s message to Syrian President Assad: get lost. With the Vice-President in China trying to reassure its leaders that our debt is safe, the Georgetown men’s basketball game in Beijing ends in a brawl with the team of the People’s Liberation Army.
