Irving Harris Johnson wanted for homicide of Simmons, Barber
Police are searching for a suspect in the July 9 shooting death of of 32-year-old Jimmie Lee Simmons and 31-year-old Dominique Barber.
The suspect has been identified as 25-year-old Irving Harris Johnson. He is described as a black male, 5’10 in height, 160 pounds, with medium complexion and a lazy left eye.
Simmons and Barber were fatally shot on July 9 at approximately 5:52 a.m. in the 1400 block of Parkwood Place, NW.
Individuals with information about the suspect’s whereabouts should take no action, but contact police immediately.

Anonymous information may be submitted to DC CRIME SOLVERS at 1-800-673-2777 and to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. If the information provided by the caller to the Crime Solvers Unit leads to an arrest and indictment, that caller will be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
