Justin Coleman pleads guilty to producing child pornography
The Falls Church elementary school teacher who was indicted on child pornography charges in June pleaded guilty Wednesday.
Justin Coleman, 35, pleaded guilty to two counts of producing child pornography just four months after he was arrested in connection with an international child porn investigation. He was one of about 900 people identified by law enforcement in Italy as people involved in the ring.
Coleman was a fourth grade teacher at John Adams Elementary School in Alexandria at the time. He admitted during the investigation that he has been viewing child pornography for years and created at least two videos in which he engaged in sexual conduct with two female minors.
Investigators also found more than 2,500 images of existing child pornography that had been altered by Coleman to depict former students appearing in explicit conduct.
He faces at least 15 years and as may as 30 years in prison when he is sentenced in late October.
