Kim Kardashian wedding: a complete preview
This mostly is Daybreak Pop’s Kim Kardashian wedding edition, along with some other things that no one really cares about because, you know, it’s Kim Kardashian’s wedding!
AREN’T YOU EXCITED? “With the big day fast approaching, Kim Kardashian and fiancé Kris Humphries celebrated their wedding rehearsal dinner with friends and family Thursday night at Scarpetta, an Italian eatery inside the Montage Beverly Hills hotel. "They both looked amazing and very happy to be celebrating their upcoming wedding," an eyewitness tells PEOPLE.
The bride-to-be wore a white dress, while Humphries wore a gray suit. Kim plans to wear a Vera Wang gown for her nuptials Saturday in Montecito.” http://bit.ly/nM6xCR
Also, TMZ reports the site is set. “The tents are up ... the grass is cut ... and the pool has been transformed into a makeshift stage. Everything appears ready to go at the $29 million California estate. As we previously reported, the majority of the wedding festivities will go down underneath the tent in an effort to thwart the paparazzi” http://bit.ly/nYotKE
And as for the dress, E! has details. “Kimmy's wedding dress will be created by Vera Wang. The 62-year-old designer is an old family friend who also dressed little sister Khloé Kardashian Odom for her nuptials last year. The dress will be amazing and fit like a glove.” http://eonli.ne/qZpT36
As for the guest list? Radar reports that “Some 500 people are expected to attend the ceremony, and Kim has asked all her guests to wear black and white to the celebration. Among the celebrity guests: Justin Bieber, Christina Aguilera, Serena and Venus Williams, Kelly Osbourne, Ryan Seacrest, as well as several of Kris’ New Jersey Nets teammates.” http://bit.ly/p0AzsV
And POLITICO reports that, “Keeping up with Kim Kardashian has earned Fox News’s Greta Van Susteren and her husband, John Coale, an invite to the reality star’s wedding this weekend. Kardashian attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner as Van Susteren’s guest last year.” http://politi.co/qk1wsR
MEANWHILE: Per TMZ, “The Situation is personally calling out Abercrombie & Fitch over their phony "We'll Pay You to Not Wear Our Clothes" offer ... claiming no one from A&F ever called him ... but he's totally up for a deal!! Sitch was chillin' in his Ferrari in Jersey yesterday when he told a photog, "Nobody's contacted me in any way ... and that's pretty crazy, you're gonna pay someone NOT to wear something? Call me up man!" http://bit.ly/pNBJg9
WHAT A TROOPER: Per Celebuzz!, “Selena Gomez may be in the midst of touring the nation, but she wanted to take some time to meet fans face to face! At a meet and greet in Philadelphia, the 19-year-old “Who Says” singer stopped by to sign some autographs and pose for pics while promoting her K-Mart fashion line “Dream Out Loud.” http://bit.ly/pGxcb0
QUITE DELICATE: Per the L.A. Times, “Bravo has opted to reedit footage from the second season of 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" in light of the recent death of featured husband Russell Armstrong, Showtracker has confirmed. It's still unclear if the premiere date, originally set for Sept. 5, will be moved. A spokesperson from Bravo declined to specify how exactly the footage will be rejiggered (if Armstrong's appearance will be eliminated completely or if his involvement will be restructured and marginalized). http://lat.ms/p9w6OV
COURTSIDE AT STAPLES? Per Us, “Like his big brother William and sister-in-law Kate, Prince Harry is set to visit California -- for two months! Harry, 27, will be spending time in the Golden State plus Arizona for a series of Apache helicopter training courses, his spokesman confirms to Us Weekly. The exact locations and dates of the "spare heir's" visit have yet to be disclosed. Called "Exercise Crimson Eagle," the California and Arizona training features "environmental training, live firing and tactical exercises," the rep explains.” http://bit.ly/pVgZL1
SIGH: Per the AP, “Young people screamed and fled in panic as a fierce thunderstorm shredded huge canvas tents and brought down metal scaffolding at an open-air festival in Belgium, killing five people.” http://apne.ws/rrXMPH
