Man falls down embankment in Georgetown

A man was rescued after falling down an embankment near water's edge in Georgetown.
D.C. Fire reports the man fell 20 to 30 feet down an embankment near the Rock Creek Park Trails, and crews used roping and a rigging hauling system to pull him out.
The scene is located at 26th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in Northwest.
The victim has been moved to safety and is being evaluated. No injuries were reported.
Traffic delays are expected in the area.
