Marcus Ferguson, Kenneth Gails arrested for Riverdale stabbing of Glenn Adkisson
A 16-year-old and an 18-year-old have been arrested and charged with murder in the stabbing of a 74-year-old Riverdale man.
Marcus C. Ferguson, 16, and Kenneth B. Gails, 18, both of the 6300 block of 64th Avenue in Riverdale, Md., were arrested by Prince George’s County Police.
Ferguson is charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bond. Gails is charged with second-degree murder and is being held on a $750,000 bond. The motive appears to be robbery, police said.
Police were called to the 6200 block of 64th Avenue at about 12:30 p.m. on July 14. They found the victim, Glenn Ralph Adkisson of the 6200 block of 64th Avenue in Riverdale.
Adkisson told officers he was assaulted and stabbed in the parking lot while walking his dog. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. He lapsed into a coma and died from his injuries Aug 2.
Investigators will canvass the area along the 6300 block of 64th Avenue in Riverdale on Thursday to try and find additional witnesses.
