August 8, 2011 - 07:11 am
BALTIMORE (AP) - Aggressive drivers are being targeted in Maryland this week as part of a state initiative.
Maryland Transportation Authority police are participating in the third wave of the Smooth Operator program, which tries to reduce the number of car crashes and promotes smart decision-making by drivers.
State law enforcement agencies will be increasing patrols and public awareness.
The campaign started Sunday and continues through Saturday.
