Nine injured in Metrobus crash in Southeast

Nine people were injured in an accident involving a Metrobus Saturday afternoon in Southeast.
A 36 Route bus headed in the direction of the Naylor Road Metro station slid into a traffic light pole, Metro spokesperson Dan Stessel says.
DC Fire and EMS crews responded and evaluated the nine individuals who were injured. Three were taken to a hospital for treatment.
It happened at Southern Avenue and Naylor Road SE at about 2 p.m.
There were no serious injuries, Stessel said.
