Man dies after car crash

A pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle near barracks row in Southeast Washington has died, police say. It happened during the height of the storm around 7:30 p.m.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police later said the man has died.
The striking vehicle appears to have stayed on scene. MPD's Major Crash unit is investigating.
