Person struck by train at Takoma Metro
August 31, 2011 - 09:45 am
Delays continue on Metro's Red line in Montgomery County after a person was struck and killed by a train at the Takoma station Wednesday morning.
Single-tracking is occurring between Takoma and Silver Spring. Delays continue in both directions, Metro spokesperson Dan Stessel said on Twitter.
Earlier, some trains were turning around at the Brookland-CUA station to alleviate delays throughout the rest of the line.
