August 17, 2011 - 05:29 am
Prince George's County police are investigating the killing of a woman in Beltsville.
Around 3:50 a.m., officers responded to the 3500 block of Cherryvale Drive for a report of unknown trouble. Upon arrival, they found a woman suffering from trauma to the body. She was pronounced dead.
ABC7 News reports that officers escorted a person out of a home in handcuffs with a white shirt over their head.
Authorities say they are interviewing a man in connection with the murder, but would not confirm whether anyone has been arrested.
Police say the murder appears to be domestic in nature and that the victim and the man they were interviewing both live at the house.
A juvenile who was home at the time was not injured.
