Prince George's police search for suspected robber
The Prince George’s County Police Department’s are searching for a man suspected of robbing three stores, one of them twice.
The most recent robbery occurred on Aug. 23 shortly after 9:40 p.m., police said. The suspect walked into the Sunoco in the 6700 block of Laurel Bowie Road, pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the cash register. He took an undetermined amount of cash and fled on foot.
He is also suspected of robbing the same Sunoco two days earlier, on Aug. 21 at approximately 11:30 p.m., and robbing a 7-11 in the 12000 block of Laurel Bowie Road and a Subway restaurant in the 6700 block of Suitland Road on Aug. 3.
The suspect is described as a black male around 30-40 years old. He is approximately 5’5” tall and about 130-140 lbs, and armed with a handgun.
