Rappahannock River rescue: 13 kayakers, canoeists, 4 dogs stranded

Thirteen canoeists and kayakers - and four dogs - have been rescued after they were stranded off the shore of the Rappahannock River Sunday.
A rapid, unexpected rise in the river stranded them in two separate locations, police say.
Stafford County Fire and Rescue Department units conducted the rescue operations.
Fire and Rescue units from the following stations responded to the incident: Falmouth, Berea, White Oak, Stafford, Brooke, Widewater, Quantico Fire, and the U.S. Park Police Helicopter EAGLE 1.
