Staggered start for Anne Arundel County schools
August 22, 2011 - 06:05 am
For most students in Anne Arundel County, classes will begin on Tuesday, August 23.
This year, secondary schools are moving into a 'staggered start' to give sixth and ninth graders a chance to get used to their new surroundings before the remaining students head back to class on Wednesday.
Kindergarten, prekindergarten students, and ECI students will also start school on a staggered schedule, but students who attend the Phoenix Center will report to class on August 23.
