SUV crashes into Camp Springs 7-Eleven
August 19, 2011 - 10:17 am
An SUV was accidentally driven into a 7-Eleven convenience store in Camp Springs on Friday morning, but nobody was hurt, officials say.
Prince George's County Fire says that a person driving a white SUV at the store in the 6400 block of Auth Road through the car was in reverse. When they pressed on the gas pedal, the vehicle was actually in the drive gear.
The vehicle then drove forward, through the front door of the store and into the counter.
County Building Inspectors will inspect the structural integrity of the building. Police are investigating.
