Trash and recycling collections to start early

Trash and recycling crews will begin collections at 6 a.m. the week of August 8 because of predicted heat and a heat index above 90 degrees.

Residents may put their trash and recyclables out for pick-up starting at 6 p.m. the day before their collections so they do not have to change their morning routine and to make sure these materials are collected.
