Varnell Darnell Harris II, man fatally stabbed in Southeast identified

WASHINGTON (AP) - Police have identified the male victim of a fatal stabbing over the weekend.

Authorities say 28-year-old Vance Darnell Harris II of Washington was found dead early Saturday morning in the 3900 block of 13th Street S.E. They say he was found lying in the hallway of a building with multiple stab wounds.

Police say they have charged 25-year-old Dominique Basil of Washington with second degree murder while armed.
