Woman pleads guily to attacking transgender person

A 19-year-old pleaded guilty to beating a transgender woman at a McDonald’s in an attack that was caught on video, the Baltimore Sun reports.

Teonna Monae Brown pleaded guilty to first-degree assault and a hate crime Baltimore County State's Attorney Scott Shellenberger told the paper. She was charged as a juvenile.
In the video, Brown and another woman are seen attacking Chrissy Polis, 22, who is transgender.
