Anne Arundel County hit-and-run victim was crawling 'for a couple hours'
A hit-and-run victim in Anne Arundel County is expected to survive after police say he was crawling around injured for several hours.
Anne Arundel County Police say that they found the victim lying in the front yard of a house in the 950 block of Generals Highway in Crownsville just before 5 a.m. He was suffering from severe leg injuries and was transported to a shock trauma unit.
Investigators say that the victim was walking southbound on the northbound shoulder of Generals Highway when he was struck by a vehicle, which then fled. He was not sure of what time the incident occurred, but police say that he had been crawling "for a couple hours" before officers found him.
The victim is expected to survive and said the suspect vehicle was yellow. Anyone with information is asked to contact Anne Arundel County Police.
