Body found in Anacostia River in Southeast

D.C. police say a body was found floating in the Anacostia River in Southeast Thursday morning.
The body was discovered in the water near the Navy Yard around 8:10 a.m., authorities say.
No further details were immediately available. The investigation is ongoing.
