Body found in car: DC police take over Henderson murder case
A man whose body was found in a burning car in Capitol Heights, Md., was killed in D.C., police say. D.C. police will take over the investigation from Prince George’s County police.
A car fire broke out around 5 a.m. in the 800 block of Balsamtree Place in Capitol Heights, Md., about two weeks ago. Once the fire was extinguished, officials found a burned body inside the car. The man was later identified as Antwain Elisha Henderson of the 5600 block of Coolidge Street in Capitol Heights.
The ongoing investigation of both the D.C. and Prince George’s police has determined that the homicide occurred in the District,.
