Boy, 11, shot in Spotsylvania drive-by

The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office is searching for suspects in connection with a drive-by shooting that left an 11-year-old boy injured.
It happened shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Burlington Drive.
Authorities say the boy was inside his home when he was shot on the side of his body. His parents took him to Mary Washington Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Responded deputies arrived at the home where they located what appeared to be bullet holes in the front wall of the residence near a bedroom window.
The investigation is ongoing.
