Capital Bikeshare celebrates 1st birthday with party

WASHINGTON (AP) - Capital Bikeshare is celebrating its first birthday with a party.
The bike-sharing service has attracted more than 17,000 members over the past year and now has more than 100 stations around Washington and nearby Arlington, Va., where members can rent bikes.
Bikeshare's birthday bash is taking place Thursday evening at The Yards Park in Washington. The celebration will include music, free cupcakes and drinks, and bike races.
