Car crashes into Silver Diner in McLean

No one was injured when a car crashed into the Silver Diner in McLean, Va., this morning.
About 9:15 a.m., a vehicle crashed into the Silver Diner on 8101 Fletcher St., said Fairfax County Fire officials. No one was injured.
According to witnesses, an elderly man put the car he was driving into reverse instead of drive causing him to crash through the lobby of the Silver Diner. The man then accelerated across the median.
He was not hurt and police said they will not file charges.
A building manager said the building is structurally safe to re-open.
