Chantilly area boy, 15, charged with abduction, sexual assault in Fairfax
A 15-year-old Chantilly area boy has been arrested and charged with abduction with the intent to defile and aggravated sexual battery in the September 19 assault of a woman in her Fairfax home.
A 29-year-old woman was entering her house in the 13200 block of Leafcrest Lane around 9:30 p.m. that day when a teen approached her from behind and forced his way into the house with her, police said in a news release.
The teen showed a weapon and sexually assaulted the woman. She screamed and the teen fled on foot.
He was described at the time of the assault as about 15-16 years old, 5-foot-7, black, with a thin build. He was wearing a shirt and blue jeans.
Police distributed a sketch door to door in the Chantilly community.
The suspect is being held on a detention order at the Fairfax County Juvenile Detention Center. Police say the official charges are abduction with the intent to defile and aggravated sexual battery.
