ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Annapolis Police say a man has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a man being sought on several warrants.
Police say 54-year-old Clifton William Tutt was arrested Tuesday and charged with shooting 19-year-old Teon Leander Wallace. In July, police say Wallace pointed a gun and threatening to kill a woman in Annapolis.
He was also suspected in an armed robbery in August.
Police say it is not clear what led to Tuesday's shooting in the 1000 block of Monroe Street, where Wallace was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the upper torso.
Tutt, who was arrested a short distance from the scene, is being held on a no bail status.
It is not known if he has an attorney.
