Desperately seeking Sassafras: Owners go all out to find lost dog
September 5, 2011 - 07:21 pm
A local family is going to extreme measures to find their missing dog.
Beth Edinger and Jeff Abramson consider Sassafras a member of their family, a family member who's been missing since April.
Not only have they plastered thousands of flyers all across the region, they've brought in trackers from out of state and even have a motion activated camera set up, as first reported by the Washington Post.
They set up a website, a dedicated phone line, and even hired professional dog trackers.
Their cost so far has been more than $10,000.
