Police arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with the slaying of Nicole McNair, a bail bondswoman shot to death in Columbia.
Police arrested Dominique Davon McDonald and charged him Wednesday with murdering the bail bondswoman. Police said McDonald arranged to meet with McNair to make a payment on money owed for an unrelated case.
McNair was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 8700 block of Hayshed Lane Monday night.
McNair was next to her BMW SUV in a parking lot. The car was running its lights were still turned on.
When police searched McNair’s vehicle, they found paperwork relating to McDonald’s case.

Police also found a piece of a cell phone belonging to McDonald near the crime scene, police said.
