The Guardian reports: Republican presidential contender Michele Bachmann had an awkward encounter with late-night talkshow host Jay Leno.

Leno asked questions about Bachmann's objections to the HPV vaccine and gay marriage that showed her to be evasive under Leno's probing, while her own jokes fell flat.
