Joe Barber, WTOP radio critic, dies at 53

The longtime Washington WTOP radio personality and entertainment reporter Joe Barber has died.

Barber was best known for his "Barber's Best Bets" local concert and arts guide. 

In addition to WTOP, he appeared on Channel 26's "Around Town" series and hosted an annual Oscar Night party at the Arlington Draft House.

He was 53 years old. He passed away unexpectedly overnight.
