Joshua Starr, Montgomery schools chief, meets with community

ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) - The new superintendent of Montgomery County schools is holding a series of town hall-type meetings with parents, students and staff members.
Joshua Starr will hold the first of 10 "Listen and Learn" events at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Northwest High School in Germantown. During the events, Starr will take questions from the audience and will discuss issues that are raised.
The meetings are among a series of public events Starr has planned to get to know the community. They run through Nov. 21.
