MPD arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with the slaying of a man in SE D.C.

Police arrested Karl Nathaniel Pugh, of SE, and charged him with second degree murder while armed.

He is accused of shooting 27-year-old Quentin Joavor Ragland on Tuesday at about 2”25 p.m. in the 800 block of Southern Avenue. Ragland was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
