The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is hunting for a 62-year-old man they say assaulted a 5-year-old child last month.

Authorities say that Lorenzo Benitez assaulted the child at the Sterling Park home where he, the child and the child's parents live. He reportedly lived with the family for several months prior to the incident.

Benitez is wanted on charges of aggravated sexual battery and assault and battery. He is described as a 5'1" Hispanic male with brown eyes and curly black hair and is believed to have ties in the Leesburg area.
