Man suffers 3rd degree burns in domestic dispute

A man suffered third degree burns in a domestic incident with his girlfriend early this morning, according to D.C. police.
At 4:13 a.m., a man was involved in a fight with his girlfriend in the 3500 block of B Street SE, said MPD spokesman Officer Anthony Clay.
The man ran from the scene to the intersection of Minnesota Ave and Clay Place NE where he was located by Fire and EMS crews.
The man suffered "chemical burns" and was transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries, said Fire and EMS spokesman Pete Piringer.
It was not immediately known if anyone was in custody.
