Maryland Terrapins vs. West Virginia Mountaineers preview
WHAT'S AT STAKE
West Virginia seeks to enhance on its fast start against its first quality opponent following easy wins over Marshall and Norfolk State at home. Maryland hopes to build upon coach Randy Edsall's smashing debut with the Terrapins, a 32-24 victory over Miami on Sept. 5 before a sellout crowd and a national television audience.
The teams play in bordering states, and although this rivalry isn't exactly Army-Navy, bragging rights go to the winner.

He returned a kickoff 100 yards for a score against Marshall and averages 22 yards on punt returns, including a 64-yarder.

Maryland: CB Cameron Chism. The senior took an interception back 54 yards for the clinching touchdown against Miami and also forced a fumble that teammate Joe Vellano carried into the end zone. Chism is also considered to be one of the hardest hitters on a Maryland defense.
