Military mom wins iPad2

- Cindy Wartz (the mother-in-law of Calvert's son), ABC7's Cynne Simpson and iPad 2 winner Cheri Calvert.
The mother of a servicemember was the lucky winner of ABC7's iPad2 giveaway.
Cheri Calvert came to the WJLA offices to pick up her price, bringing along her son's mother-in-law Cindy Wartz for moral support.
Calvert was ecstatic at the price, writing on the ABC7 Facebook page, "WJLA is the absolute best news station ever...They don't just keep us informed...they help make dreams come true."
Calvert's son Nick Subryan is a member of the military, and she said the iPad2 will allow her and her family to contact Subryan wherever his service may lead him.
