MLK Jr. library open 7 days a week

Seven-day-a-week library services will now be available at the Martin Luther King, Jr. library in D.C.
Mayor Vincent Gray announced in a press release that funds have been secured for Sunday service for the library, located at 901 G Street NW.
"The library plays an important role in supporting education for students of all ages and providing job search and career assistance," said Gray in a statement. "We are pleased we were able to identify funding to keep the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library open on Sundays."
The library will receive $316,000 for the Sunday hours, which run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
